Wood, WF; Foy, BD; Largent, DL

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology [Biochem. Syst. Ecol.], vol. 26, no. 5, pp. 589-591, Jul 1998

Truncocolumella citrina Zeller (Boletales, Rhizopogonaceae) was collected at Bald Hills, Humboldt County, California. Basidiomes of the false truffle, T. citrina, were removed from the forest floor duff and mature, spore-producing forms were kept separate from immature, non-spore-producing ones.
